An interesting look at the past, given that Russians are now in a similar position: both the past is chaotic - the authorities are constantly trying to rewrite it, and the future is vague. Thirdly, and therefore Halloween is a little more important for me, I was born on All Saints' Eve - October 31, many many years ago, in a country that no longer exists (Soviet Union) and in a city that no longer "exists" (Leningrad). For obvious reasons, only few people believe the government (and there is practically no help, only fines). At the moment, a lockdown has been initiated and it is difficult to say how long it will last overall. In Russia, this holiday is not officially celebrated, however, in the best (pre-covid) times, many pubs and even small cinemas & theaters were decorated with appropriate themes (primarily pumpkins, bats, etc.) with various cocktails and performances on this topic. Secondly, I congratulate everyone on the upcoming Halloween! And even though this holiday fairly smells of a pandemic, it is still an opportunity to once again communicate with friends, relatives and just acquaintances around the world. You can see the result of these years with your own eyes. Nevertheless, after a couple of months, I decided to participate in the discussions personally. Initially, I did not plan to create an unnecessary account for reddit, and just periodically looked here to read about events, questions and discussions of various things related to the "game". And this means that I created an account exactly 3 years ago. It's getting harder to write long texts, but I'll try one more time.įirst, I noticed a cake icon on my profile.
